The Laurens Central School Annual Health Fair is back! We will have our health fair on May 1, from 9 am to 3 pm. The community is invited to attend from 11:00 to 12:30. This year, the fair will return to the traditional fair format – designed to spark interest in various health related subjects, and allow more time to visit tables individuals may have more interest in. Tables from 15 to 20 organizations will be set up in our multi-purpose room. Students will spend time at each table, and if they can “pass the test” for that table, they will have a card punched. They then will be able to redeem the cards for various prizes, such as water bottles and first aid kits. Our dining hall will provide healthy snacks to give visitors ideas about better choices they can make when choosing snacks. Elementary students will attend, by class, from 9 am to 11 am. The exhibits will be open to the community from 11 to 12:30, and the presenters will take a lunch break until 1:00. High school students are invited to attend, as classes allow, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
