Did you know that a few years ago the district was not able to send out a monthly newsletter due to the cost of publication and mailings? One of the goals the Board of Education and I have worked hard to address was the return to a monthly publication. In addition, we wanted to send the newsletter to all taxpayers living in the district, rather than only to parents, as had been the case. Through the generosity of individuals, organizations, and businesses we were able to attain both of these goals and return to the monthly edition of the "Leopard's Tale".
The cost of sponsoring a newsletter is $150.00 This covers the cost of the mailing, and does not include copying, paper, or labor costs for the creation, typing, and editing of the newsletter. Would you, your organization, or your business consider sponsoring one of our newsletters? We are looking for sponsors for the 2011-2012 school year. One of the most effective ways to improve the quality of education for our youth is to provide a constant form of communication between the school and the home. Keeping parents and community members well informed is vital to the success of our children.
