LCS will be holding its annual Coaches vs. Cancer Day on Saturday, January 20. Game times are listed below.
9:00 a.m.- Girls Modified vs. GMU
10:30 a.m.- Boys Modified vs. GMU
12:00 p.m.- Girls' JV vs. Worcester
2:00 p.m.- Boys' JV vs. Worcester
4:00 p.m.- Girls' Varsity vs. Worcester
6:00 p.m.- Boys' Varsity vs. Worcester
Admission is by donation and all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. We have over 30 prize baskets and gift certificates from local businesses that will be raffled off and you do not need to be present to win. In addition we are doing a "31" bag fundraiser on Monday, January 7 starting at 3pm in the high school library with proceeds going to Coaches vs. Cancer. Please help support us in our efforts to help fund research for a cure to this deadly disease that has affected so many of our friends and loved ones.
In addition to the Coaches vs. Cancer activities we will be hosting a spaghetti dinner to benefit the family of Sharon Coulter. Sharon was a long time employee of Laurens Central School who recently passed away. Admission is by donation and proceeds from the dinner will assist the family with the costs incurred for Sharon's funeral.
