I joined Laurens Central School as the K-12 Principal in July of 2020. Prior to working at Laurens, I taught at the Oneonta High School from 2007- 2020 as a member of the science department and at the Unatego Jr.-Sr. High School from 1991- 2007. I have worked with students in courses such as Physics, Chemistry, and Drivers Education, as well as serving in the capacity of Head Football Coach, JV Baseball Coach, and Chemical Coordinator.
I was born in Texarkana, Texas and raised in Unadilla, NY where I attended Unatego Central School and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at SUNY Cortland with a concentration in Secondary Education. I hold a Master of Science degree from SUNY Oneonta in Secondary Education and earned my administrative certificate through the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
I enjoy spending time with my wife Dawn, our two children Erin and Jackson, and our two dogs Duncan and Diesel. I also enjoy attending New York Jets football games, climbing mountains in the Adirondacks, reading Tom Clancy, and CrossFit at 5:30 am.
